Investigation into Fatal Fire Incident at 33 Casa Grande Drive

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the deaths of two children found after a fire at 33 Casa Grande Drive about 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday (October 22).
The identities of the females, 5 and 6, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Hernandez and M. Perez reported:
HPD patrol officer assisted Houston Fire Department emergency personnel at a fire at a residence at the above address. A male, 56, and female, 27, suffered injuries and were able to exit the residence. Two minors in the home were pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is pending the causes of death of the two children.
The Houston Fire Department Arson Division is investigating the cause of the fire.
