Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3534 Russell Street 

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3534 Russell Street about 2:20 a.m. on Saturday (October 25).
The victim is identified as Ramon Martinez Linares, believed to be in his 50s.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a residence at the above address and located a male with a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Officers learned the victim was involved in an altercation with another male. During the altercation, the suspect shot the victim and fled the scene.
