Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3500 Ocee Street

Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 3500 block of Ocee Street about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday (November 1).
The deceased male child is identified as Mohammad Hasanzai, 3.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Fendia and Officer C. Sartor reported:
The child was walking with his mother through an apartment complex when he broke away from the female and started to cross the street. While in the roadway, a vehicle – described as a red Toyota pickup truck – struck the child. The driver did not stop to render aid.
Officers later located an unoccupied vehicle possibly related to this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
