The fatal shooting of a man at 2410 Southmore Boulevard about 6:45 p.m. on Sunday (November 23) will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
The identity of the deceased male, 43, is pending identification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The male shooter, 42, was not injured.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives I. Barrett and P. Michon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival officers located an unresponsive male on the ground in the courtyard with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned there was an argument between two males that led to a shooting after both individuals brandished firearms.
After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office it was determined the shooting would be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
