Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6000 Richmond Avenue

Houston police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash in the 6000 block of Richmond Avenue about 3:35 a.m. today (November 25).
The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and N. Kumar reported:
An unknown white sedan drove across the median on Richmond Avenue and Fountain View Drive while making a left turn. The vehicle struck a female pedestrian and the driver did not stop to render aid. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased at the scene.
