Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11107 South Post Oak Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a woman at 11107 South Post Oak Road about 4:45 a.m. on November 28.
The deceased victim is identified as Mark Markquez, 29.
The female victim, 30, is expected to recover from her injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Brown and M. Cass reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address and learned a man and woman had suffered gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital where doctors pronounced the male deceased.
Investigators learned Mr. Markquez and the woman were leaving an establishment when two unknown black males in dark clothing approached them. There was a short verbal altercation and Markquez was shot. Both suspects continued to shoot as they fled, striking the woman.
