Investigation into Woman’s Death at 3100 Murworth Drive

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 3100 Murworth Drive about 10:50 a.m. on Sunday (November 30).
The identity and cause of death of the woman, 81, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs and B. Stephens reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of an unresponsive person found at a townhome at the above the address. Officers found the female lying on the bedroom floor with an apparent laceration on her head. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased.
The investigation is pending the female’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
