Investigation into Fatal Crash at 11900 Northwest Freeway 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 119000 Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290) service road about 1:35 a.m. on Sunday (December 7).
The identities of the deceased victims are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant  R. Dallas and Officer R. Young reported:
A green Ford Expedition was traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on the service road at the above address. The Ford failed to maintain a single lane and struck the barricade between the entrance ramp and service road. The impact caused the vehicle to catch fire.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the driver and the passenger deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
