Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2111 Holly Hall Street

The fatal shooting of a woman at 2111 Holly Hall Street about 12:30 p.m. on December 12 will be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
The deceased female is identified as Hannah Womack, 36.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Lamont and Detective C. Flora reported:
HPD patrol officers learned of a shooting while en route to a criminal mischief call at the location, an apartment complex at the above address. When officers arrived they found a female who had suffered more than one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.
A female security guard at the location stated she was involved in a physical altercation with the other female, leading to the security guard discharging her weapon. The security guard was transported to the hospital where she was treated and released.
After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office it was determined the shooting would be referred to a Harris County Grand Jury.
