Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 11919 Harristown Drive
Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman at 11919 Harristown Drive 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday (December 17).
The suspect, Gerren Miles Crosson, 34, is charged with murder in the 176th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Crosson is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 71, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective E. Camacho reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at a residence at the above address and located a woman with multiple stab wounds. The woman identified her son, Crosson, as the suspect. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Officers located the suspect in the residence and he was detained. After further investigation, detectives consulted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the suspect was charged and arrested.
