Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5917 Glenmont Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5917 Glenmont Drive about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday (December 21).
The identity of the victim, 55, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a call about an unresponsive person found in the walkway area outside an apartment. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, the male was was sitting outside of his family’s apartment when an unknown suspect or suspects shot him more than once.
