Investigation into Woman’s Death at 11100 Braesridge Drive

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 11100 Braesridge Drive about 4:55 p.m. on December 19.
The identity of the deceased female, believed to be 71, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective J. Meister reported:
Officers responded to a request to assist Houston Fire Department firefighters at an apartment complex at the above address. While extinguishing a fire, the body of a deceased female was discovered.
HPD Homicide detectives are working with HFD’s Arson Division. The investigation is pending the female’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
