Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 10606 Brooklet Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 10606 Brooklet Drive about 8 p.m. on December 19.
The suspect, LeBron Augustus, 17, is charged with murder in the 230th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Augustus is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as John Pascuasa-Menendez, 20.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Chettry and H. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a male in an alley way. Pascuasa-Menendez had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigators identified the suspect as Augustus. He was taken into custody and subsequently charged for his role in the shooting.
