Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2812 South Richey Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 2812 South Richey Street about 7:40 p.m. on Monday (January 5).
The identity of the victim, 19, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and C. Davidson reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call and found a male in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked along the curb. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates two unknown males, wearing all black, shot at the vehicle and fled the scene.
