Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in 2020 Fatal Shooting at 1415 West Gulf Bank Road

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 1415 West Gulf Bank Road that occurred about 6:55 p.m. on December 3, 2020.
The suspect, Chandler Lusk, 25, is charged with murder in the 178th Criminal District Court. A previous booking photo of Lusk is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Tyrome Ervin, 24.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants B. Smith and T. Hollohazy reported:
Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Houston Fire Department paramedics with the victim. Further investigation revealed an unknown suspect in a tan Buick sedan drove by and fired shots at Ervin.
Further investigation developed information that identified Chandler Lusk as the suspect. Lusk is already in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice on unrelated charges.
