Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4300 Gessner Road 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 4300 Gessner Road about 2:00 a.m. on Saturday (January 17).
The identity of the deceased male, 35, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Carlton and Officer T. Riley reported:
The driver of a black BMW X3 was traveling southbound at the above address at a high rate of speed when the driver failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and struck a light pole. The driver was transported to an area hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics where he was later pronounced deceased.
No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.
