Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 8047 Grow Lane 

Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a juvenile female that occurred at 8047 Grow Lane about 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday (February 4).
The identity of the deceased juvenile female,13, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Herrera and G. Herrera reported:
Officers responded to a stabbing call at the above address and located a juvenile female suffering from a stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation determined there was an altercation between two groups of individuals, including the juvenile female, at the location which led to the female suffering a stab wound.
A juvenile male,10, was detained at the scene and released pending further investigation.
