Update: Surveillance Photos of Suspect Wanted in 2025 Fatal Shooting at 9303 Town Park Drive

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 9303 Town Park Drive about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday (October 21).
The suspect is described as a male wearing a black ski mask and a red t-shirt. The suspect left the location in a black van. Surveillance photos of the suspect and the van are attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Carlos Padilla, 31.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants C. Ponder and J. Gardner reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and located a male with gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the victim entered the apartment complex and was followed by an unknown male suspect who had exited a black van. The suspect ran to the complainant, fired multiple shots and fled the scene.
