Houston police are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 3000 Scott Street about 10:40 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 22).
The identity of the deceased male, 52, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Quezada reported:
A pedestrian was struck by an unknown number of vehicles at the above address. The female driver of a white Volkswagon Tiguan was traveling northbound when she struck the male. The driver returned to the scene and preliminary investigation determined the Volkswagon was one of the last vehicles to strike the pedestrian.  No other vehicles remained at the scene.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
