Investigation into Fatal Crash at 12227 Cullen Boulevard

Investigators have identified the vehicle involved as a Can-Am Maverick Sport (four-seater) that appears to be dark gray and neon yellow or green in color. A stock photo of what the vehicle is believed to look like is attached to this news release.
The deceased female is identified as Deanna Wilson, 25. A picture of Ms. Wilson is also attached to this news release.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer M. Lozano reported:
Ms. Wilson was one of the passengers in a Can-Am Maverick Sport at an event held at the above address. At one point, the vehicle overturned, injuring Ms. Wilson and the male driver, 26. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported both individuals to area hospitals. Doctors later pronounced Ms. Wilson deceased.
The driver is expected to survive his injuries.
Additional witnesses left the scene with the vehicle. The crash investigation is ongoing.
