Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6199 West Montgomery Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6199 West Montgomery Road about 8:45 p.m. on Monday (March 2).
The identity of the deceased male, 46, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Officer R. Bymaster and North Patrol Division Officers reported:
Preliminary information indicates the male was driving red GMC Canyon pickup truck when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a building. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
