Update: Surveillance Photos Released in Fatal Shooting at 10500 Bauman Road
Houston police are releasing new surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 10500 Bauman Road about 11:15 a.m. on Sunday (March 15).
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 18 to 25 years of age and left the location in a gray 2012 to 2016 Honda Accord. Surveillance photos of the suspect and the vehicle are attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 24, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective D. Higgs reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the street. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the victim was walking northbound on Bauman Road when someone in the vehicle pictured below got out and fired multiple times, striking the victim. The suspect fled the scene.
Further investigation identified the Hispanic male suspect and the vehicle, pictured below.
