Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 3331 Antoine Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of another about 11:05 p.m. on March 24.
The suspect, Leslie Sutton, 36, is charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 486th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Sutton is attached to this news release.
The identity of the deceased victim, 61, is pending notification to family members by they Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a business at the above address and found two people with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced one victim deceased at the scene.
A second male, 34, was transported to an area hospital by private vehicle and is expected to survive his injuries.
Officers identified and located a suspect. He was taken into custody and detectives consulted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The suspect, Sutton, was charged and booked into the Harris County Jail.
