Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6000 Bissonnet Street 

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and the wounding of a female at 6000 Bissonnet about 5:10 a.m. on Sunday (March 29).
The identity of the deceased male, 20, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Persad and Detectives C. Bowling and L. Yasin reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located two individuals suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported a male to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased. A female, 18, was also transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
According to witnesses, the shooting occurred at a nearby apartment during a party where a verbal altercation led to multiple individuals discharging firearms.
