Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7550 Long Point Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman and wounding of a man at 7550 Long Point Road about 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday (May 6).
The identity of the female victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective W. Elliott reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call and located a man and woman with gunshot wounds in a parking lot at the above address. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased at the scene.  The male was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
At this time there are no known suspect(s) or motive.
