Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8400 West Bartell Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female found at 8400 West Bartell Drive about 1:10 a.m. on Sunday (May 11).
The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Nielson and Detective A. Ledford reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found an unresponsive female suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  Paramedics pronounced the female deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the shooting may have occurred at a nearby strip center.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) description.
