Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 900 Lucky Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 900 Lucky Street about 2 a.m. on Saturday (May 17).
The identity of the deceased male, 48, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Torres and A. Graf reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a male with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim had been transported to the hospital by a private vehicle, where doctors pronounced him deceased.
Further investigation determined the victim got into a physical altercation with another male at the above address. The suspect shot the victim multiple times and fled the scene on foot.
The investigation is continuing.
