Investigation into Fatal Crash at 200 East Crosstimbers Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 200 East Crosstimbers Street about 9 p.m. Tuesday (May 20).
The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer D. Thompson reported
The male driver of a maroon Nissan Titan was traveling eastbound at the above address when the vehicle struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was crossing southbound on East Crosstimbers, not in a crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
