Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 235 El Dorado Boulevard

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 235 El Dorado Boulevard about 2:20 p.m. on July 24.
The identity of the victim, 34, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and M. Castillo reported:
Officers responded to an assault call in a wooded area at the above address and found an unresponsive man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him deceased on July 25.
One person has been detained in this incident and the investigation is ongoing.
