Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 6 Broadhurst Drive

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 6 Broadhurst Drive about 1:10 p.m. on Thursday (September 25).
The suspect, Jose Anthony Campos, 29, is charged with murder in the 232nd Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Campos is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at a residence at the above address and found a male with stab wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Detectives learned the male was involved in a physical altercation with another male. The suspect stabbed the victim and fled the scene. The suspect, Campos, was located nearby, detained and questioned. Investigators consulted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the suspect was charged, arrested and booked into the Harris County jail.
