Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8200 Broadway Street

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 8200 block of Broadway Street about 1:35 a.m. on Sunday (November 2).
The identities of two deceased males are pending notifications to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Officer T. Johnson reported:
A white Infiniti Q50 and a black Infiniti Q50 were traveling northbound at a high rate of speed at the above address. Preliminary information indicates both vehicles lost control and collided with each other.
The black vehicle also struck a bust stop, a tree and caught fire. The driver and passenger were ejected. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced them deceased at the scene.
The white vehicle suffered significant damage to its front. According to witnesses, two people exited the vehicle and fled the scene.
