Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10500 Gulf Freeway

Houston police are investigating a fatal at 10500 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday (November 12).
The identity of the deceased male, 44, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Wu and Officers J. Rincon and K. Stout reported:
A blue Dodge pickup truck was traveling northbound when the driver attempted to make a u-turn to travel southbound. The vehicle failed to maintain a single lane, lost control, clipped a curb, struck a flower bed, rolled over and the driver was ejected. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
