Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4400 El Dorado Boulevard

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 4400 block of El Dorado Boulevard about 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday (December 3).
The identity of the deceased male, 42, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Le and Officer T. La reported:
A black Ford F250 was pulling a trailer and traveling eastbound at the above address. A gray Ford Focus was traveling northbound on Hickory Knoll Drive and failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. The F250 struck the Focus. The impact of the collision pushed both vehicles into the westbound lanes of El Dorado, where the F250 struck a white Acura MDX.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male driver of the Focus deceased at the scene.
The female driver, 29, of the F250 remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. She was transported to an area hospital via private vehicle for non-life threatening injuries. The female driver, 42, of the Acura was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing.
