Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 4400 Memorial Drive

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found in the 4400 block of Memorial Drive about 1:25 p.m. today (December 24).
The identity and cause of death of the male are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. May and C. Sharp reported:
A pedestrian noticed a body in Buffalo Bayou at the above address. The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the body from the water.
The investigation is pending the male’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
