Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9300 North Wayside Drive 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 9300 North Wayside Drive about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday (January 11).
The identity of the deceased male, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer Z. Alikhan reported:
The driver of a red Honda Civic was traveling southbound on North Wayside at a high rate of speed when the driver failed to maintain a single, left the roadway and struck a tree. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.
