Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7099 Chasewood Drive

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 7099 Chasewood Drive 7:25 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 24).
The identity of the deceased male, 30, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detective D. Toledo and V. Villarreal reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found a male suffering from a gunshot wound in the driver seat of a silver sedan.  Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
Further investigation revealed the vehicle contained narcotics and witnesses stated that two unknown black male suspects shot at the victims’ car during a drug transaction.  The suspects fled the scene on foot.
