Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2100 Shadowdale Drive 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred in the 2100 block of Shadowdale Drive about 12 a.m. today (February 6).
The identity of the deceased male, 29, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer V. Taylor reported:
A red GMC Sierra was traveling southbound near the above address when the driver failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and drove through a residential fence striking a patio awning.
Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene. The male passenger, 19, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
