Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9455 West Montgomery Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 9455 West Montgomery Road about 6:10 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 8).
The identity of the deceased male, 25, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and Officer J. Leon reported:
The driver of a white Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was traveling northbound on West Montgomery at a high rate of speed and during a period of heavy fog. The truck left the roadway and struck a tree. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
There were no other vehicles or persons involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
