Houston police have arrested a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of a male at 1900 South Kirkwood Drive about 8:25 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 6).
Jordan Fobb, 21, is charged with murder in the 209th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Fobb is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Maxie Worthy, 42.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettry reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting outside a strip center at the above address and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Further investigation identified Fobb as a suspect in this case. On Sunday (Feb. 8), Fobb was arrested by the Westside Patrol Division Tactical Unit on an unrelated charge and subsequently charged for his role in the death of Mr. Worthy.
