Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7400 East Orem Drive 

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 7400 East Orem Drive about 5:40 p.m. on Thursday (March 26).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Le and Officer K. Stanley reported:
A white Kia Sorento was traveling westbound at the above address when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck an elevated manhole cover and a tree.  The male driver was ejected from the vehicle, and Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
There were no other vehicles or persons involved in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
