Investigation into Fatal Crash at 800 West Little York Road

Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 800 block of West Little York Road that occurred about 8:30 p.m. on March 27.
The deceased female is identified as Scheaky Washington, 50.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer C. Ballard reported:
An unknown vehicle traveling eastbound at the above address struck two pedestrians who were crossing the roadway, not in a crosswalk. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced a female, Ms. Washington, deceased at the scene.
The second female pedestrian was transported to an area hospital.
The driver, believed to be a female, of the unknown vehicle did not stop and render aid.
