Investigation into Infant’s Death at 2800 South Dairy Ashford Road 

Houston police are investigating the death of an infant that occurred at 2800 South Dairy Ashford Road about 3:45 a.m. today (April 17).
The identity and cause of death of the male infant, 4-months-old, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detectives K. Aloysius and G. Zavala reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a meet firefighter call at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive baby. Houston Fire Department paramedics stated they found the mother walking through the complex with an unresponsive baby in her arms, bleeding from the nose and mouth.
The baby was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is pending autopsy results.
