Investigation into Woman’s Death at 577 West Rittenhouse Street 

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 577 West Rittenhouse Street about 11.55 a.m. on June 26.
The victim is identified as Elizabeth Amaro, 61.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at an apartment complex and located an unresponsive female at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased.
The investigation is pending the female’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
