UPDATE: Suspects Arrested, Charged in 2023 Death of a Man at 14500 Nelson Street
Houston police have arrested two suspects charged in the death of a man found at 14500 Nelson Street about 6:30 a.m. on December 9, 2023.
One suspect, Morris Taylor Jr., 44, is charged with aggravated kidnapping, arson, murder and tampering with evidence in the 351st Criminal District Court.
The second suspect, Steven Ryan Henry, 55, is charged with arson and tampering with evidence in the 183rd Criminal District Court.

The victim is identified as Adrean Arrington, 41.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Cass and B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a vehicle fire on the side of the roadway at the above address. Upon extinguishing the fire, HFD paramedics found the body of a person in the trunk of the vehicle.
Further investigation revealed Taylor fatally shot Arrington at a motel at 13900 S. Main Street and with Henry’s assistance, put him in the trunk of Arrington’s vehicle and drove it to the above address. They then covered the vehicle in gasoline and set it on fire.
On January 25, 2024, Taylor was arrested for felon in possession of a weapon and has remained in federal custody since that time. On July 1, 2026 he was charged for his role in the fatal shooting of Arrington. On Wednesday (July 8) Henry was arrested for his role in this incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.
