Investigation into Male’s Death at 11800 Astoria Boulevard 

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 11800 Astoria Boulevard about 9:55 a.m. today (August 11).
The identity and cause of death of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Brady and Detective W. Elliott reported:
Officers responded to a report of a person down at the above address and located an unresponsive male in a retention pond. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased. Preliminary investigation did not reveal any signs of foul play.
The investigation is pending the male’s cause of death, to be determined by autopsy.
