Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 215 Sunnyside Street about 9:10 p.m. last Friday (Jan. 5).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 30s or 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives S. Chettry and H. Martinez reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and located the victim in the roadway. He had suffered more than one gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
At this time, there are no known witnesses, suspects or motive in the shooting.
