Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7915 De Priest Street about 10:25 p.m. on Monday (April 10).The identity of the victim, 41, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Arrington and Detective A. Hernandez reported:Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address and observed the victim inside a residence. He had suffered a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A preliminary investigation indicated the victim and another male interacted a short time before the victim was shot.
