Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10200 North Freeway

Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10200 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road that occurred about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (April 6).
The deceased male is identified as Mario Cardenas, 34.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Alejandro and Officer J. Leon reported:
A black Maserati Quattroporte was traveling northbound near the above address and, as the driver attempted to make a left turn, he struck a curb, lost control of the vehicle and struck a concrete pillar.
Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male, later identified as Mr. Cardenas, deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
