Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9200 Fondren Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 9200 Fondren Road about 2:10 p.m. on Thursday (June 5).
The deceased female is identified as Reem Musallam, 37.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer N. Luu reported:
A white Honda Accord and White Ford F20 were traveling southbound at the above address at a high rate of speed. The Honda switched lanes, into the path of the Ford, and the Ford struck the Honda. Both vehicles left the roadway, striking street signs, poles and trees before coming to a stop.
Paramedics transported the adult male drivers of both vehicles to an area hospital in stable condition.
The female passenger in the Honda was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in critical condition. Doctors later pronounced her deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
