Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3820 South Gessner Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 3820 South Gessner Road about 1:25 a.m. on Saturday (July 12).
The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Graf and E. Torres reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot of a business at the above address and found an unresponsive male. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the victim was in the parking lot near an unknown vehicle. A disturbance occured between the victim and unknown suspect(s), leading to the shooting incident. The suspect(s) fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
